Discovery place phone number8/1/2023 I love that they have a separate space for children under 3 to play, so infants can watch themselves in the mirror while laying on soft mats, splash at the water table, or toddlers work on gross motor skills in an area with less foot traffic than the big-kid play centers. As I said we went on a Saturday and it was busy, but lots of fun.ĭiscovery Place Kids is a bright, colorful, and engaging active play environment that can be enjoyed by children from 6 months of age up to age 7 or 8. Lots to do and a fun place to go on a rainy day. ![]() Would recommend getting a membership and going frequently. I don't know if it's free all of the time. Parking was across the street in a parking garage and free. There are elevators and bathrooms on the first and second floors. That would be a deterrent if I had to haul my own cooler and ice up to the 2nd floor with all the other party stuff. However, I peaked in the rooms and there was no refrigerator. There is a little area for a snack break, nursing room for mothers. Good luck telling your two year old why they can't play with something. One thing that was frustrating some of the items/stations were out of order or missing pieces. ![]() There is so much to do water activities, legos, crafts, repair shop, cafe and grocery store a small area for little crawlers, the list goes on. We don't live in the area, but if we did, we would get a membership as paying over $30 for one visit was steep. ![]() One thing we loved about the location was the age of 7 and under. My husband and I took our two year old son here on a busy Saturday.
